Chief Wahoo, Symbolism and the American Veteran

When real men returned from WWII, we celebrated their return with a kiss.  WWII was perhaps one of the worst wars in human history, with some of the worst atrocity's in human history up til that time.  The home coming, and ticker tape parades, came at a time when it placed the United States in the drivers seat, as the end of WWII was the beginning of the Industrial revolution.  Not only were we to win the war, but we were to capitalize on an undamaged infrastructure which placed us well in God's esteem.

I'm not sure, but I think if you were to ask one of the men who climbed the beaches of Normandy, "do you feel bad for winning?" that their reply would be a simple "no." Only in the year 2020 is winning a sign of some sort of guilt ridden privilege.  Today, you need to check your privilege at the door.  On sandlot baseball fields in the year 2020, everyone gets a trophy.  Have you ever paused to consider why that is?

When the veteran's returned after Viet Nam, there were no real ticker tape parades.  Obviously they weren't scorned for winning, they were scorned for fighting.  They were called every name in the book, yet fought side by side with men whom they would form a bond which most people will never experience.  The point is they were shunned, and it was that shunning that added to their

psychological recovery.  I'm sure in Jane Fonda's eyes she somehow twisted her virtue in support of the American soldier.  Right?  Yeah... right.

That's the thing about the left.  Watch out for their virtues.  Their virtues will leave you wanting in a ditch.  You see, Godless virtue equates pain and suffering, and the pain and suffering is the reverse Catholic version of penance.  Isn't everything on the left a perversion?

This takes me to the crying Indian to the left.  His name is Iron Eyes Cody.  If you weren't alive in the '70's, you have no idea who this sniveling "wise" old Indian is.  He's most notably known for his appearance on a television commercial.  You know... the television.  That propaganda box in your living room?  'Ol Iron Eye's Cody looked at the camera when someone threw a McDonald's bag out their car window on a highway that was well littered upon and he shed a tear.  Injun please.

Who's idea was it to give the "indigenous people" land so that they could build Casino's?  The spoils of war go to the victor right?  Let me get right to the point.  The "American Indian" doesn't deserve anything other than a job should they choose to work in this great country.  I was watching an episode of Yellowstone the other day and laughed out loud at my propaganda box, when the actors character suggested that the reason Indians are alcoholics is because the white man introduced them to alcohol.

This is the level of lunacy we are inundated with on a daily basis. The left wants to tear down historical monuments, which symbolize our countries struggles, and the journey we all took to become the greatest country on the planet, while at the same time they want to flog themselves, (and us) with virtue signaling bullshit they hear from a liberal arts professor salaried by tax payer subsidized dollars and blood money from China.  Ya fuckin' kiddin' me?  I feel like I'm taking crazy pills with this bullshit, which leads me to the Indian I wrote this for in the first place.

Apparently, because I think this way, I'm just a bitter old white guy.  Set aside the fact that my family fought in the War of Independence, and signed the Declaration of Independence.  We've been here for every one of those wars.  For each monument.  We got it right, and we got it wrong, but we learned.  It all made us who we are.  We grew this country and we are not ashamed of it.  No.  We're proud of it.  I've been a Cleveland Indians fan all my life.  The jagoff's who decided it's time to lose the logo and now lose the name, know precisely what they're doing here.

Bottom line here?  To the victor goes the spoils.  No apologies.

Unlike the American Indian whose ass we kicked soundly.  We made the "indigenous people" our bitch.  We did the same to the Germans in WWII.  The same to the Japanese, the Italians, in WWII.  We did the same to Jolly Ol England in 1776.  Logo or no logo, we won they lost.  Statue or no statue, history does not change.  The results are the same.  Go Cleveland Indians!

There is no 2024.  Only 1776.
